浣熊洞

Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī，一般人直接稱呼他Rumi (魯米)，生於1207年9月30日，卒於1273年12月17日，伊斯蘭教蘇菲派神秘主義詩人

13世紀就寫下的詩篇，流傳至今，顯得既古老又富含意義；那句Don't wash a wound with blood，擺在現今社會依然適用

是詩人太過智慧，或是人類太不長進呢

How does 
a part of the world 
leave the world? 

世界的一部份

怎麼離開得了世界?

How does wetness 
leave water? 

濕氣又如何離開得了水?

Dont' try to put out fire 
by throwing on more fire! 

不要嘗試用更多的火焰

來撲滅火苗

Don't wash a wound 
with blood. 

不要用鮮血來清洗傷口

No matter how fast you run, 
your shadow keeps up. 

Sometimes it's in front!

不管你跑得多麼快

你的陰影總會追上

有時還等在前面呢

Only full overhead sun 
diminishes your shadow. 

唯有日正當中的豔陽

能夠驅散你的陰影

But that shadow 
has been serving you. 

但那黑暗同時也一直服侍著你

What hurts you, 
blesses you. 

Darkness 
is your candle. 

Your boundaries 
are your quest. 

那些傷害你的，也會庇護你

黑暗就是你的蠟燭

你的極限就是你自訂的目標

I could explain this, 
but it will break 
the glass cover 
on your heart, 
and there's no fixing that. 

我可以再解釋得更深入些

但這將打碎橫在你心上的玻璃

而且無法修復

You must have 
shadow and light source 
both. 

你一定要同時保有黑暗和光明的源頭

缺一不可

Listen, 
and lay your head 
under the tree of awe. 

學著聆聽，

並向敬畏之樹低頭學習

When from that tree 
feathers and wings 
sprout on you, 
be quieter than a dove. 

當你因敬畏之心獲得成長

請保持安靜

要比一隻鴿子還低調

Don't even open your mouth 
for even a coo.

絕對不要張嘴

即使只是啼叫一聲咕咕
